I have a 1941 chevy pick up, model AK. It has a 1953 235ci engine with which I am using the original 216ci bellhousing and transmission. My question is? Where can I find rear engine mounts that fit? The mounts that I have been receiving are completely different than the ones I have. The surface that mounts to the crossmember (single hole side) is completely flat, but the ones I need have to have the edge that faces the frame rail partially rolled up to allow for clearance as the crossmember angles up. Using the ones that are flat hold the bellhousing up by about 3/8" to 1/2" off the crossmember. Has anyone had this problem? Am I going to have to re-vulcanize my old ones? Where would I get that done? The one on the left is what I’m looking for.
