The 15 miles before it started acting funny….was that highway driving or lower speed kind of stuff?
Was just thinking maybe you had a partial exhaust restriction (mouse house) that didn’t rob power until it moved a bit. Caused a significant restriction for a few seconds, and then lit off. 6 months of sitting is enough for Fievel to make a home.
The ignition explanation is probably a better one.
