I will look at those things now. I just got back from a test run where I tried to induce the stall or backfire but I couldn't make it happen.

The condenser is a J Goodman Special and I just had the cap off a couple weeks ago checking everything with a microscope when I changed the points. All looked good then but I'll look closer now.
