These days it's a crapshoot when it comes to parts quality. You can't even trust brand names like AC Delco anymore as that stuff is junk made in China like everything else. Sometimes you get lucky like I did when I bought a water pump that turned out to be made in Japan. It looked like a piece of jewelry it was so nice.
I just posted those parts as an example. It wouldn't surprise me if the Dorman and Dayton products are made in the same factory. Who knows?
