None of these carburetors would be suited for your use, but this is the idea. I ve personally modified several Holley carburetors for blow through applications, and it does work. I would never consider doing another one, as tuning was fairly intense. You also get into boost reference, even with your fuel pressure. If your carburetor calls for say 5 psi, and you have say 10 psi of maximum boost, you now have to supply the carburetor with 15 psi of fuel pressure, and that number has to fluctuate in direct proportion with boost pressure or you will be blowing fuel through the needle and seat. There s a lot more to it than that, but it has been done many many times. I can t even imagine trying to modify a vintage carburetor, for boost, as its sometimes difficult to get them sealed up on their own. The holley was unique in that it was simple to swap the power valve out. In my personal experience, a blow through design is good for wfo, and thats it. I managed to drive mine on the street, but it was a handfull.
The gift wrapped carburetor in a box has been done as well, and it does work too.
Throttle body injection is too easy to install to go the carburetor route in this particular case in my opinion. If you do decide to pursue the carburetor route pm me and I will attempt to guide you through it. I still feel that this would be best suited for a modern engine, but the shock value when opening a hood on something like that has value as well.
