Acquiring and installing the 2 lower windlace retainers is near the top of my job list. I am applying sound insulation to the floor and firewall , a utilitarian carpet will cover that.
My question: Is that steel windlace retainer sometimes used for the dual purpose of securing the rubber windlace and the edge of the carpet material? Seems like a logical thing to do ; I am wondering if anyone in this sphere has experience with that.
