Thanks! Hopefully, I can make the McLeod throw out bearing work with the mid- 50's bellhousing. I'm guessing, if the GM Tremec fits, save a spacer to move it back a touch, the T/O should also work. The previous owner had McLeod make him a billet flywheel for the 302, but from what I've read, only a 10" will fit in there, not an 11". Best I can figure, they took a BBC blank and drilled it for the 302 crank.
I'm guessing McLeod was a sponsor or they knew each other from his racing days because the previous owner had a ton of McLeod stuff in most of his hotrods. Some of the stuff he threw at me for a build. We had to machine down the trans mount plate to get the proper pilot shaft depth. Really nice clutch and T/O set up, along with the motor plate and bellhousing.
