Ahhh the ole H21 Shawnee. They were sort of the medium lift helicopter of the early Vietnam war. Noisy, smelly, and uncomfortable. I had the privilege of meeting Frank Piasecki back in the early 80s. Sadly, it was at a funeral, so I did not have the chance to engage in any real conversation. Certainly a pioneer of American helicopter aviation.
