The Fam I have is a reprint of '54, so it was the same through '47 to '54. I was thinking about how weatherstrip was made back then might explain the different part numbers. Just a guess, but the weatherstrip may have been formed to contour around the corners. I watched another video that seemed more convincing, they mentioned the option of trimming the ends of what I'm calling the crumb catcher if there are issues with the door closing. It looks like the weatherstrip does bunch up making the transition around the corners and trimming that cup could give it some room to flatten. I'll proceed as originally designed, Thanks for the replies.
