I came across this site a year or so ago when I to find info on the web about clearing out the port in the 235 block. I got so immersed in all the info and good people that I ended up joining.
Also as an addendum to my original post, after boring a hole through the sediment I would take a pair of pliers and bend and fray the end of the cable a little bit more each time and then send it back in like a Roto-Rooter
