If your SBC engine has side motor mount bosses than it is NOT a 1957 block, it's a '58 or newer. The 1957 283 was a one year only block.
The stock SBC Rams Horn exhaust manifolds were installed at the factory on the TF trucks and do not interfere with the stock steering.
