Who among us is a professional windshield specialist for classic cars and trucks?
I wish I knew of a business in WA. that is as good as Pfaff's Auto Glass in NC.
They've been a business for a long time and they do modern windshields and classics.
It's a no brainer for me. Why should I fight to install a windshield, nick the paint, scratch the glass only to have it leak on the dash and down my leg when it rains. I take it to these guys and if there is a problem with fitting or leaking, they take care of it. They provide a warranty. They have a preference for what parts and material they use.
I have never seen any auto glass installer that is careful, some think they are but they are not. I wish I had everything to do all the stuff myself (paint booth etc), only one I trust to be careful enough is my brother. Nick the paint? Everyone one(auto glass person)that I have been around does that and just uses their little bottle of paint to cover it up.
I say this is an expert.
