Good point, Jon. The 1955 Ford 272 V8 Holley with the 3-bolt throttle body also used a 1 1/16" venturi. When I installed one on a 239 cubic inch flathead V8 bored oversize .080" to 252, it was overcarbureted and had a nasty flat spot if the throttle was opened too quickly.
