The 5.7 Vortec engine and 4L60 trans are being controlled by the GM ECM that was re-programed to eliminate systems I did not need such as navigation, theft/security, etc., the gear ratio/tire size was programed to the actual tire size, 23575R15, and the 3.42 gear ratio.
The truck runs very well, plenty of spunk, get up an go, turning about 2,100 at 65/70 mph. Drives like a 98 truck should.Wm.
