Thanks so much for the warm welcome and the encouragement! It seems a little overwhelming, but I will take it a little at a time.
The first day I brought it home I ran into some troubles. I couldn't get it started and my brother was able to figure out we needed a new ignition switch. It seemed the old one the tumbler was considerably loose and wasn't making a good connection. We changed it out and it starts like magic now!
