So far, my ideas are for a weekend type driver. Maybe head to the coffee shops, grocery, or a car show or two. For now, I plan to keep the 235 inline for as long as it will last me. I may decide to go the small block route later. It needs paint and a new bed now, so those will be my focus for the near future. Just working on safety items now...it needs some seat belts.
I picked this up from a private seller in North Scottsdale who actually had two of these, plus an Apache and a Model A. So, it had good bones to begin with and I'm glad to be learning about these classic trucks.
My brother was a mechanic in his early days, so he will be my primary helper on the project. I have no skills as yet to work on this, but I have a huge desire to learn.
