TexApache I think in the 70's GMC had trouble with dieseling so bad they put on a solenoid to close the throttle plates completely so the engine would stop when you shut it off. It was a nightmare . In 68 when the fuel made the carbon so hard you couldn't wire brush it off of the valves was when that started. AIR AIR INJECTION REACTOR !!
