As I've said before on this forum,I have towed a C-60 with a half ton,including a fairly steep summit,but I really don't recommend it. I only did because I had no other option at the time. My pick up had no problem pulling it,though lane changes were a little tense.It even stopped reasonably well,if only because I was looking WAAAAAaaaayyyy ahead of the truck,preparing for every move far before its time was at hand. I began slowing for turns and stops a mile before I reached them. If I'd been cut off or someone had pulled out in fromt of me,it could've been ugly. If your boss will work something out with you,go with that.
