The 60-65 mph of my '50 is fine for me. Tall skinny tires make it easy to steer and fast enough to get where you want to go. Nobody expects me to win a drag race.

It performs perfectly for a 72 year old truck. Why would I want to pretend that it isn't 72 years old?
