ljblue My 48 2-ton has that same set-up with a babbitt 235 it's not very fast,haul 8000 lbs. white rock with it spread on the driveway. My engine has a "48" cast right in the block below the distributor. Does your 47 have a "47" cast in there ?? It's just above the pan rail.
