I just joined forum and had to add to this topic.
52 1 ton. Just bought it and on the ride home I was in 4th and the truck was doing around 35 ( my son was following me), yet I didn’t have it floored either because she sounded like she was already high in the rpm’s.
I was told from seller it was a Logging truck. So I’m guessing this is true as to why it is geared low. These roads are 30-35mph anyway and I should be good. I did have a line of cars behind me though!
So I guess I’ll stay off the main roads and cruise.
