Ok, another uneducated question as the old truck is all new to me.
What oil am I putting in this truck?
I checked the TechTips and didn’t find anything on it, and my manual does show SAE-30 but I want to make sure as I do not want to damage any internals.
Didn’t know if the SAE-30 can be substituted with another.

I do know the motor was “redone” around 2013/14. I do not know how many miles it has gone since or oil changes.
Did a search and found Some have used Rotella diesel oil; others straight SAE-30 and 10w-30. Detergent and non-detergent. I guess I should be asking, what is recommended?
