The black hose is a little big for the wiper vacuum motor. Did you use an adapter to reduce the size?
It really doesn't matter as long as there are no vacuum leaks.

Beginning 1950 AC oil canisters were blue with orange lid. I have read that the canisters installed at the factory were black with white lettering.
Fram was orange bottom and black lid. Oil canisters were optional. Some trucks came from the factory without one.
Sometimes the owner added one later. Oil canisters can be repainted to almost any color.

I added a picture of a 1 ton with Hydrovac. The wiper vacuum connection, Hydrovac and check valve may be connected together in a distribution block.
