For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 125 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 125 | I have a '49 3800 stakebed with what I believe to be the original 216. Actually, the whole truck seems to be almost all original. I've gotten the code (AGCAII223) off the engine and determined that it's a 216 built for a 3800 (the AGCA part). But I haven't been able to find out what the rest of the code means (II223). I've checked several of the web sites that have engine code information but no luck so far. Am I missing something really obvious? Can anyone clear up this little mystery for me? Thanks for the help. Jim | | |
