I have screwed up on my 53 half ton. I remember, on my first cab, there was a rod that ran from side to side on the seat base for release of the seat slide on the passenger side. That cab was junk and I sold it. Unfortunately, my new better cab does not have that rod. I don't see it listed in any of the parts dealer catalogs. I assume that it's just a simple rod with 90 degree bends on both ends. Is there anything else that I need to know about this, in order to make one. Any info appreciated. Pics would be great.
