I am no paint expert. But I had old cars for 40 years.In the 80s I sandblasted and painted a car frame with rust mor and I still have that car the underneath looks great do they still sell this?
Never heard of that. I've used Rustoleum primer years ago (and still use some on small parts). It eventually gives up when up against the elements.
Also i sandblasted a car and painted the frame the in the early 90s with acklic enamel I just sold that car but rust specs were starting to come through the paint so I dont want to use that. Any suggestions
Epoxy primer under that acrylic enamel should do the trick. The epoxy seals the metal against the elements and the enamel protects the epoxy against degradation from sunlight, etc. That's what I used on my frame.
