FWIW I've had mixed results with POR15, but generally if I follow their instructions to a "T" the results have been good. No shortcuts. I always topcoat it.
Given it's highly affected by humidity, I'm speculating that results could vary a lot depending on a person's local conditions. We usually have high humidity up here.
