Actually his truck faired much better. He was able to drive his away from the scene. It being a 3/4 ton or 1 ton Dodge Dually, it sat high in the rear which is why our front end got crunched in so badly. You can see in the photos where the corner of his bumper and truck impacted the front of ours. We ended up with no tow service as AAA wouldn't or couldn't dispatch anyone. So we had to pull the fender out from the tire so it would steer, and tow-strap-towed it home. It didn't wander, still tracks straight.
