JW51 - no it doesn't leak when running , occasionally seeped after setting. It has the thick insulator under it. the top is warped and leaked in the past and that's the issue I'm concerned with. I rebuilt it and it does "work" but I think it might be running rich. I'm going to look for another carb and maybe try swapping the throttle bodies. Sound like I need to go review Carbkings info on compatable Carter carbs.......Thanks for the help.
