Joe, that's a classic example of doing "race engine" stuff on a street machine- - - - -and your experience proves the point I've been making here, and to a couple of decades' worth of high school students- - - -"Have a good idea of what you want the engine to do before you pick up a wrench"! Make it work on paper before you invest a lot of time and money whittling on metal!
