Never the less, the engine still has to move a heavy 1/2 ton (or larger) truck that has a wind resistance characteristic of billboard. GM designed our beloved vehicle (AD truck etc.) with great low end torque, that can carry loads at a reasonable lower speeds. I think we should respect the capability it was designed for. If we want "all around better" then simple logic tells us to buy a new GM truck. "Adding CFM to a truck will only help at engine speeds you don't want to use." "I found there was nothing to gain beyond 400 CFM."
