What are you going to do with the truck? If you're just going to cruise I would go with the lightest clutch possible. Heavy duty clutches are hard to disengage and hold in stop and go traffic. I wouldn't go too crazy with a heavy clutch in a 1/2 ton, make it fun to drive. Besides, how hard is it to change the clutch if it only lasts a couple of years anyway?
