Everyone has a story about the truck they sold years ago, didn't buy, etc. Here are mine. My dad had a 1954 COE Chevy grain truck back the late 1960's and early 1970's (I was a little kid). It sat for a few years in the cattle shed when he quit using it. Sometime in the early 80's it finally disappeared. I am not sure where it went-I just know it went. It got parked because he bought a 1959 Chevy Viking 50 grain truck. I think you all refer to this type as a low cab-over. I remember this one a little better. It had a 283 V-8 and sure sounded good with glass packs and no tail pipes. It got sold in 1981 and replaced with a 1973 C65 which we still have. The bed and hoist from the 1959 went on the 1973. We also now have a 1966 C60 tandem that is in the gallery photos.
