I had a pristine 56-57 Nomad station wagon get away. My mom called while I was in college (1977) and say a neighboring rancher was cleaning up and getting rid his old cars. I had seen the car in the barn for years but it was going to be "restored" some day. I told her to tell him put a "sold" sticker on it and would be home that weekend to retrieve. BY the time I got their he had sold it to a ranch and for $50. He put a battery and some gas in it a nd drove it home. Only good news is he drove it for a few years and then gave it to a son who restored it.
