Is he wanting $13,000,? I think 9 or 10 would be better because on non-running engine would be safer. Depends on what you want. Engine rebuild easily cost $2,000. Plus. But if you want a V-8 anyway, who cares. GMC 302 would drop right in there, more HP, still cost same to rebuild. Is it original 6V or converted to 12V? Bargaining point.
Rust repair is big $, mechanical repair not so big.
