Thanks for your advice. No this is all new to me. I do not have a MIG yet. I have been reading and learning about it, so I think I have an idea on what MIG to buy and how to approach learning. I am going to have to invest in a lot of practice before I do any real work.
I've watched some of Welch's videos. One of the best things I've seen is the MIG welding sticky and videos in this forum.
I am interested in putting it back the way it was. I'm just now beginning this restoration journey, and appreciate this resource. When I'm actually ready to tackle this particular job, I'm sure I'll be asking specific questions.
