I clean beer lines for a living. The chemical I use is a sodium hydroxide solution.(caustic). When it comes in contact with aluminum, it does just what Texmo sez. It only takes a few seconds. Rinse with water and wipe, and you have a perfectly clean, shiny, aluminum surface. And carbking is right, try not to breath the fumes!
