Chuck it in the blast cabinet and bring it back to AS NEW CAST finish pretty easily.
after that you can clear coat it with a high temp clear ...now that will make it a darker grey than the AS NEW CAST...but will be easy to clean.you can see my engine with the blasted an cleared Edelbrock at the Gallery.
