I put a diff in my 54 3100, it came out of a 78 4x4 chev suburban,12 bolt posi, 6 stud axles, stock springs etc. Had to rework the mounting a bit. Its been in there 30 years now and i havent had to touch it once,except to service it once in a while. Partsvavailabikity is still good.
