Because of the discoloration, I would not recommend this procedure. At least not to get it to leaving it on boil. Unless you were going to paint them anyway. I don't want to paint though. Googling brings up a lot of hits related to this type of thing when putting some aluminum pans in the dishwasher. Some remedies are diluted lemon juice or white vineger. I will test that. Jerry, does the TSP affect the finish?
