HB, if you have seen my posts regarding putting spare under rear on TF suburbans and panels and a 1960 GMC truck, using windup style, I won't go into it again. Possibly you prefer an inside the cab spare.

What in the picture is of "interest" to you? The spare tire mounted against the wall or the bar on the floor on the left? I had a 1966 GMC carryall with a tire mounted to the wall. Many are done that way. I don't like too much "butchering" either. Let me know what you are thinking.
