Thanks for interest Bartamos. My fuel tank is mounted in frame, centered, which will inhibit the spare from going under. I dont have a picture but maybe will get a chance to add later. I believe the tank to be aftermarket and bigger than a stock tank.
The bar on the right side somehow attached to interior panel. I suspect a bolt or 2 through that bar with lug nuts secure the spare. Specifically I am looking for ideas or pitfalls in fastening that bar through the interior panel. Sheetmetal screws or is there a way to get a bolt and nut on some real structure.
I would also make sure that the seat (2nd 3/4 seat in the 3rd seat position) fits with the tire there. I dont want to foul a seat going in there. I believe the 3/4 seat would still fit. I can measure for that, but someone has done all of this work previously.
