A friend pulled the two piece shaft from his old Chev 3/4 ton truck, went with the long one piece. The thing started vibrating coming down a long grade, front joint came appart and pole vaulted the truck off the highway. He was lucky to survive and the truck was totalled.
Just have this thing built by a quality drive shaft shop, balanced is a must.
