I think only the half tons had a pedal like the cars,i bought a floor and toe sections from a 37 GMC and it has what looks like a big bracket to hold the foot. My half ton has a smaller bracket that the pedal hooks in to and if I can remember correctly the 1 1/2 ton in a local junkyard did not have a pedal like the 1/2 ton. Jeff
