Thanks for researching it so much..

I'm pretty sure mine is a 3/4 ton truck. It does not have a short bed. So I guess the pedal is correct. From talking to my Uncle before he passed away. The only thing that was ever done to the truck was a valve job. The was one piece of bailing wire on that truck. He took good care of it. I'm pretty sure it is all original. I just thought it would of been just alittle more refined for a gas pedal. grin
