alright, now I'm confused. So is the perch for a pedal mount or just a heel rest to push down on the disk screwed to the linkage? Was there ever any rubber on the disk? I know about the pedal assembly and how the ball on the end of the linkage pushes into the rubber on the back of the pedal. My 35 chevy car is identical to that. So that would make sense if I had the ball on the end of the linkage. I thought was the round disk was a leftover from an old brake pedal. I must be wrong.
