As I look at your photos, the only thing I see different between your truck and mine, which is also a 37, is the four speed transmission. I don't see why that would make a difference on what the gas pedal is like, but it could. My truck has a gas pedal like your 35 does and that metal piece on the floor of my truck sticks up about 1/2" and is shaped like a backwards "7" with the metal at the top curled so the pocket of the pedal slips over it and the curl is the point where it kind of "rides" in the pedal pocket. Yours looks like a square piece of metal mounted on one of it's long sides. But if Tony has one like you do, than I'm confused. Tony, was yours a four speed? I'm going to check the parts book and see if I can make a determination. I'll get back to you.
