I ran multiple BXOV-2s (Stromberg 216 carbs) on a 235 manifold no issues, a gift from an Inliner friend. These carbs had the base holes slotted to fit the 235 spacing. As stated which every carbs you go with must be exactly the same inside and out. Also you may still be able to purchase new modern carbs from Langdon's Stovebolt.
