Different strokes- - - - -etc. If you insist on using a long duration cam and multiple carbs, factor in a 6-speed transmission or so. That way you can keep the engine revved up all the time so you can actually make use of the tiny power gain the go-fast stuff creates- - - -only in RPM ranges most people never see on a street machine. Both the cams I recommended are useful at sane engine speeds and they don't ruin low-end torque and destroy manifold vacuum.
