I would like to redo the rear suspension on my 57 Chevy 1/2 ton. Years ago I did the Mustang II front suspension and mono leaf springs and QA1 shocks in the rear , i've never been real happy with the mono leaf springs ride. I'm not looking to raise or lower it anymore , it sits just right now, it measures about 2 inches between the edge of the fender to the top of the rim.
What I was wondreing is what all you guys have tried for rear suspension and liked or disliked?
I'm open for anything, air bags, coilover, 4 bar, new leaf springd under the axle ?
I don't use my truck for hauling much weight mabey 500 lbs.
